Naval Science Students
Naval Science students are students that have no desire to join the Navy or the Marine Corps. That being said, due to your involvement in the Corps of Cadets, you are required to spend at least three semesters participating with an ROTC unit. For the NROTC, this entails signing up for a Naval Science (NVSC) course each semester and attending Leadership Laboratory every Wednesday from 1615-1815.
All documents that can be found in your NSC packet should be filled out and mailed back to the NROTC office within 2 weeks of your NSC. If you do not mail them by 1 August, do NOT mail the documents, bring them with you to Freshmen Orientation Week (FOW).
